Your first AI search program starts with one honest baseline.
Proofsource is an AI intelligence platform that shows whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews name your brand, who they name instead, and what to fix. Nobody owns AI search on your team yet, and that is fine. Start with one baseline: the questions your buyers ask, who gets named and the first three fixes.
Answers naming Tesla, by engine
Five things a first program has to answer.
You do not need a strategy deck to start. You need a number, a list of competitors, a list of sources and one owner for the next step.

A hundred answers, read for you.
Proofsource writes the questions from your site and your category, and you review them before the scan runs. The second scan, a day later, shows which answers held and which moved.
- 25 questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews
- Who is named instead, per question and per engine
- The pages each engine cited, and whether you are on them
- No card, and your answers stay after the trial

Ship three fixes before you hire for this.
Early AI visibility work is mostly unglamorous: get onto the pages the engines already cite, make your own pages readable to their crawlers, and answer the questions you are missing in plain words on your site.
- Fixes ordered by how many answers each one could change
- A site check that shows what AI crawlers can actually read
- Content drafts you edit and publish yourself

What your team will know by tomorrow.
Your mention rate
How many of 100 answers named you, per engine, with the range the number could really sit in.
Your real competitive set
The brands AI recommends when it leaves you out, ranked by how often, with the answer text behind each one.
Your missing pages
The cited pages that name competitors and not you, so the first outreach or content brief writes itself.
Questions emerging teams ask
Nobody owns AI search here yet. Is it too early?
No. The baseline is most useful before anyone has changed anything, because it is the number every later change gets measured against. One person can run the trial in an afternoon.
What does the free trial include?
2 days of full AI visibility, today and tomorrow. Each scan asks 25 buyer questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, with no card and no sales call. After the second scan, scanning pauses and every answer stays in your workspace.
Which AI engines do you check?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews on the trial. We track 10 AI engines. At checkout a plan picks from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and Claude, and pays for each question on each engine it picks; at least one is always on. Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI are enabled on a call (Book a demo) or on Managed.
How is this different from SEO rank tracking?
Rank tracking tells you where a link sits on a results page. AI answers often have no ranking at all: the engine names two or three brands and moves on. Proofsource reads the answer itself and records who was named, what was said and which pages were cited.
What happens after the trial?
Your answers stay. To keep tracking, pick a plan on the price card. One price card for everyone: each brand pays a fee for daily ($28 a brand a month) or weekly ($7), plus each question on each engine you pick, from $9 a month (5 questions on ChatGPT, weekly). Unlimited team members on every plan.
