Ask Claude how AI answers see your brand, who gets named instead and what to fix, and get the answer with proof.
Connect in four steps
- In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and select Add custom connector.
- Paste the server URL https://app.proofsource.co/v1/mcp. Under Authentication, pick Sign in when needed, not No sign-in, then select Add.
- When Claude asks, select Connect, sign in to Proofsource and select Allow. If you belong to more than one workspace, pick one first.
- In a chat, turn Proofsource on under +, then Connectors, then ask.
https://app.proofsource.co/v1/mcpOn a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors, then Add, then Custom, with Authentication set to Sign in when needed. Each member then signs in when Claude asks.
Sign in with your work email and a 6-digit code, or with Google. Already signed in to Proofsource in this browser? You just select Allow.

Do I need a Proofsource account to use it in Claude?
To see your own brands, yes, and connecting makes one if you are new. Without signing in you can still see the Tesla example.
What does a new account get?
A work email gets 2 free scans, the same trial as signing up on the web. A personal email gets an account, and scans start once you add a work email.
Can Claude change anything in Proofsource?
Only three things, and only with the write access you allow: add a brand, add a buyer question, and mark a fix shipped. It cannot delete data or change billing.
What does Anthropic see?
What each tool returns, such as brand names, visibility numbers, competitors, cited sources and answer excerpts. It never sees your sign-in code. Anthropic's own terms cover how Claude handles it.
How do I disconnect?
In Proofsource, open Settings → AI agents and select Revoke next to Claude. The next request from Claude is refused. You can also remove Proofsource in Claude's settings.
